New Professional Support Network for School Administrative Assistants Coming Next School Year

AWSA began sponsoring a conference for administrative assistants in 2022. This generated the idea of creating a network for school administrative assistants to connect and learn throughout the year (similar to WASSA for assistants to superintendents). 

AWSA surveyed administrative assistants this winter, and 88% supported creating a network.  Members of the network will benefit from:

  • An online forum to share information and resources with colleagues throughout the state.

  • A newsletter featuring important updates and timely tips 

  • Webinars on priority topics

  • Member registration discount on the annual conference (beginning in 2025) 

Membership for the 2024-25 school year will open on April 2nd.
