Aspiring Workshop (formerly Aspiring Administrators)
Do you know someone who would make a good principal? Have you thought about it yourself?
The Aspiring Workshop (formerly Aspiring Administrators Workshop) is for outstanding educators considering administrative careers. The program encourages these individuals to learn from administrators for an introduction to topics, issues, problems, and other facets of school administration. Please accept this opportunity to impact our profession by nominating one of your staff.
Services include:
• Receipt of AWSA publications.
• Attendance at the Aspiring Workshop (held in two locations each Spring) at a reduced registration fee.
• Free admission to grade-level conventions, subject to space limitations.*
• Access to AWSA staff members for information and advice
Cost:
$38 for Aspiring Administrator Member or $86 for a Non-Member (which includes Aspiring Administrator Membership)

Event cancellation or Postponement AWSA reserves exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other acts of God. If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule and registration fees will be applied to the reschedule event dates. In the unlikely event of cancellation of an event, including inclement weather, the liability of AWSA is limited to the return of paid registration fees minus actual expenses. Cancellations of travel reservations and hotel reservations made directly with the hotel are the responsibility of the attendee.
Conventions, Conferences, and Workshop Cancellation Policy A full refund of fees will be made on cancellations received by 3/9/25. A 50% refund will be made on cancellations received on 3/10/25 through 3/15/25. Starting 3/16/25 there will be no refunds. There is no refund for no-shows. *
*Refund fees retained by AWSA pay for your food guarantees, a/v equipment, meeting room rental and any hotel attritions caused by the cancellation.
