Aspiring Administrators Membership

The Aspiring Administrator Membership is for outstanding educators whom we hope to attract to school administration. The membership is meant to connect teachers, whose career goals include seeking administrative positions, to currently practicing administrators through publications, in-service programs, AWSA meetings, etc. These opportunities will provide an excellent introduction to topics, issues, problems, and other facets of school administration. 

The annual fee is $48.00

Services available to participants include:

• Receipt of AWSA publications;
• Complimentary registration for our grade level conferences: Elementary Convention, Associate Principals Conference and the Middle and High School Principals Convention
• Attend other AWSA Conferences and Academies at the member rate
• Access to AWSA staff members for information and advice.

The Aspiring Administrators Membership also includes a discounted fee of $38 for the annual Aspiring Administrators Workshops. The Aspiring Administrator Workshop is for outstanding educators whom we hope to attract to school administration.

The Workshop's primary purpose is to connect teachers, whose career goals include seeking administrative positions, to currently practicing administrators through publications, in-service programs, attendance at WFEA-sponsored programs, AWSA meetings, etc.   

These opportunities will provide an excellent introduction to topics, issues, problems, and other facets of school administration.
