Our vision for the Mastering Leadership Academy is to identify, attract, and convene Wisconsin’s most impactful school leaders across an array of settings (e.g., rural, suburban, urban) to a singular professional learning experience, where the united presence of such high-caliber individuals creates inspiring synergy for an exceptional professional learning and leading experience. Some notable, preliminary objectives for this future Academy would include the following:
  • Learn and leverage the practical wisdom in the group to stimulate and motivate excellent learning leaders of schools to become difference-makers in the broader field.
  • Network with other learning leaders in a collaborative cycle of inquiry that addresses one or more deep-seated problems of practice in education.
  • Contribute to one or more Professional Learning Networks (PLN) as a thought leader in an area of professional passion/expertise.
  • Deepen leadership legacy by mentoring/coaching one or more school leaders in their transformation journey.
